Description
There is nothing wrong with ILKSAN 1, but since it is already snailed, and one of the reviewers suggested an alternative might use the Nutbrook Trail, I thought I would investigate this route instead. It is mostly the route I used while walking from Ilkeston to Sandiacre, but I tried one of the paths marked on OpenStreetMap through the woods south of Derby Road, and decided not to use that part of the route because there are Keep Out warning signs at both ends, so although it was clear that the paths are still well used and have proper gates, somebody doesn't want us to use them, and I felt it better not to recommend ignoring the signs as I did! I have borrowed the route from BORILK 1 (which I walked last year) as a better alternative here
