Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

Hiking Historian
29 May 2022Short accessible route for all users. Mostly a pavement stomp between two Metro stations, with shops and bus stops nearby.

25 Jan 2022Short route on pavements. Little obvious interest en-route but it does the job.

20 May 2021Accessibility-wise this is very good. It is flat and the pavements are wide and fairly smooth. Short and easy walk about 15-20 minutes.
Suggested modification for walkers to cross straight over Black Road and head along the path through the playing field.
Three stars because it's an uninteresting urban walk past houses and a couple of corner shops, there's not much to look at on route.
