02 May 2021 (edited 27 Jun 2023)Rather dull route on city streets (the A560), albeit with some greenery around. Not really any better route between these though; direct, accessible, easy to navigate.

18 May 2023Certainly agree that this route isn't very interesting, but, as you say, there's no better route, it's accessible, direct and easy to navigate, so surely warrants more than two stars? Just concerned people might dismiss the route based purely on the star rating when there really is no viable alternative?

18 May 2023Looking at the methodology, "is it safe" is dubious given traffic levels, it's not off road, it's not scenic or beautiful... It got more than 1 star as it's probably the least bad option, it's at least direct, though it's not a route I'd actively seek out to walk. Broadway might be a viable option, NCN goes that way and quieter if somewhat longer. Feel free to add your own rating and assessment though.
