Description
This is a modification of route FORROM1, to correct a problem with access in the section between Wellow and Romsey. Therefore it is unchanged from FORROM1 between Fordingbridge and Wellow. After West Wellow, this route goes to St Margaret's church, East Wellow, on past Woodington Farm to The Frenches, across the A27 near Shootash crossroads, along a footpath through Squabb Wood at Troy House, then meets the Test Way into Romsey. The route from Wellow to Romsey is mainly on footpaths through countryside or woods, with the exceptions of sections out of Wellow and through The Frenches on quiet roads, and approx 600m along a footpath alongside the busy A27

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.
