Description
Having walk Drored I found the plotting around Hanby indecisive so decided to offer this plot with other minor modifications. Since starting to walk Slow Ways I like to walk a new route before posting it but I'm unlike to return to this area so leave it to others to offer reviews. This route passes Hanbury church where I found refreshments and a loo, I hope this excellent hospitality continues and is not abused. The Jinney Ring was closed and is now missed to avoid the unpleasant pavement walk. A stop can still be included by an extended roadwalk to the cross roads. The bridleway north of Leasowes Farm was a running stream which can be avoided and here I have chosen to keep well away from it you may prefer to take the field footpath alongside to the west. The footpath at Millfield Farm avoiding a short section of Pumphouse Lane was rather overgrown so I recommend staying on the lane. I've opted for a road route through Webheath and a recognised public footpath along the edge of Pitcher Oak Wood. I look forward to your reviews of this route
