Description
This is a shorter and more direct walk than Chukin (two). Also a very pleasant walk, however it does miss out on the lovely walk along the banks of the River Teign. More of the route is on lanes, but these were very quiet when I walked it. The route in and out of Kingsteignton is alongside a fairly busy road, but it does have a nice wide pavement,

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

28 Jan 2024I walked this route in late January. It was very quiet and very pleasant. At the northern end it is the same as Chukin (two) but between Gappah and Kingsteignton takes a more easterly option. Mostly along lanes, but quiet ones with little to no traffic. The Sandygate Inn provides a good opportunity for a refreshment break.
