Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

28 Mar 2024I decided to use Chishi Two rather than One as this has slightly less road walking.
A very enjoyable Slow Ways starting in Chipping Campden moving out into field paths with nice views back to Chippy. Care is needed when walking along the short road section of B4035 as there is no pavement or grass verge and when crossing over the railway line just after. Then across fields with more good views of lovely countryside on to Ebrington which a diversion can be made for refreshments at the Ebrington Arms. Crossing over more fields before joining the road to Charingworth with a nice bench just before entering the village for a rest before charring on. Then past Charingworth Grange with more fields before entering Stretton-on-Fosse where i can recommend The Plough Inn for a good pint of Cotswold Gold and food if required. On leaving the village you go through woods before coming to the busy Fosse Way A429 caution needed to cross after a short section of pavement. Once across this busy road you take farm tracks and field paths with good views before reaching Shipston on Stour.
Overall a very good Slow Ways Route easy to follow and very enjoyable.
