Walk this routeCrossing over more fields before joining the road to Charingworth with a nice bench just before entering the village for a rest before charring on....

Next morning train to Honeybourne, entered Cotswold Way via this path - excellent way....

Immediately when leaving Chipping Campden, the walker faces the steepest and longest incline of the route on the ascent up to Dover's Hill. It's on this ascent that I believe the route given here has missed a trick or two. 300m before taking the most direct route (photo 1) to the summit of Dover's Hill (photo 2). I humbly suggest walkers take this first footpath to the right to reach the escarpment of Dover's Hill, and then follow the ridge to the marked summit and rejoin the route....

Chose this version after reading the review for the route one, and indeed was glad to get off the main road as we approached Honeybourne. At the top of Dover's Hill, the route takes you downhill steeply through The Lynches Wood to take you to the village of Weston Subedge....

The path that leaves the road outside honeybourne is not maintained. You will walk through a farmyard with an agessive dog (it is contained) to a path that is completely overgrown. It is very hard going along a field edge....

Walk this routeEasy to navigate, mostly follows the Monarch's Way which is well-signposted. Some hills but nothing you wouldn't expect on a walk in the Cotswolds....
TomDoggett
Fine apart from the last stretch into Honeybourne which goes along a fast road for further than it needs to, there's a footpath which can eliminate this so will upload a new route....

Excellent route - hilly but not over-demanding....
Be aware there’s a new housing estate being built on the outskirts of Chipping Campden currently (May 2021) so you can’t get through a small section on the current map - but it’s only a small detour!...

A few small parts where the map didn’t quite match the actual path’s route but it was easy to connect it all up....
