Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

29 Mar 2022This route was fine except for the access problem at Laisterdyke mentioned by Gemma C. The gate is permanently locked and it is unacceptable to climb over the fence. There a nearby alternative which I have uploaded as BraPud Two.

26 Sep 2021An easy to navigate route with varied scenery - estates and a nice wooded section. There was one section however that a gate was locked so we couldn't access, and had to climb over instead - the turning off New Lane.

29 Mar 2022Hi GemmaC. Thank you for the warning about the locked gate. It enabled me to investigate the route further and come up with an alternative before walking it. The gate is permanently locked and it is unacceptable to climb over the fence. This route should NOT be verified as part of a trustworthy network. It would help the network if you amended your review (via your profile page) to unverify it, and then did a review of my rerouted BraPud Two. Thank you.
