Description

The route has been altered as it approaches Melksham to avoid crossing the very busy A350 ( OS ST 89962 63437 )
The revised route goes through Berryfields, and crosses the A350 at a roundabout with crossing island
100 m from the roundabout there is also a controlled crossing.
A review by John Myerson has highlighted a computer glitch in Hilperton. Stay on the towpath for all three Bramel routes. Regarding elaborating on the walk route to Whaddon Church, I confess I live in Melksham, so the route is obvious to me, I can only say, follow the river to the Packhorse Bridge, then head towards Whaddon Church. OS maps help
