Description
This route is an alternative which is designed to be more accessible than BlaWoo 3, make use of some greenspaces and going past Charlton House and using quieter and more attractive roads where possible. Some of the roads are fairly busy - HaHa Road, Cemetery Lane and particularly Charlton Road, but it does have good views towards Docklands between Victoria Way and Charlton House - you'll need to cross over the road to see past the trees and towerblocks.
There are several small shops and a chippy on Charlton Road plus 3 cafes in Charlton House and Charlton Park (I like the Mulberry Cafe - in the middle near the skate park and toilets). Charlton Village and Blackheath Standard (Old Dover Road) are both very close to the route and feature larger and more numerous shops. There are bus stops throughout
