Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

29 Jul 2022The initial and final sections of this route are OK, but in the middle there are a couple of sections where you are met with a closed and locked gate, and you have to work around by the road. The first is when you turn off Harehatch Lane and are meant to turn right, but that gate is locked with no way through, and appears to be private. The second is after Farnham Common, when you turn right into a private housing estate off Farnham Park Lane. The exit from that estate is through another locked gate, so you have to backtrack and come down busy Parsonage Lane to rejoin the route.
Farnham Common is a good halfway point, with pubs, cafes and coffee bars,.
