Route description
This route starts at Hemel station (about 1 mile from the town centre) and follows the Grand Union Canal as far as Cassiobury Park, then along the pedestrianised High Street to Watford High Street station meeting point. Greener with less road/urban than Hemwat One, but misses out Watford Junction station. Refreshments along the route, in particular at Cassiobury Park Hub, Kings Langley, and the marina at Apsley. Railway stations at Kings Langley and Apsley. Canal tow path, mostly good underfoot, some steep canal bridges.
