Route description
This route largely follows Batcor one, with two changes 1) In Corsham , the path between ST 85704 68966 and ST 85666 68934 the route is incorrect on the OS map, the Wiltshire Definitive map is correct. The route goes to 'Shepherds' at ST 85734 68916 and up a set of steps 2) Batcor one goes across Kingsdown Golf Course, which is open access land, so in theory one can walk anywhere, however in reality if you do so, you run the risk of being hit by a golf ball. Batcor two goes around the perimeter of the course on a created 'Woodland Walk', this adds 0.30 mi to Batcor one Overall the route is 11.00 mi, with 493 metres of ascent
