Route follows a road heavily used by timber wagons and wind farm traffic, sections are narrow with no verges making it difficult to get off the road when traffic appears....

Good route, mostly off road on well marked paths. Will be further improved when the planned Penpont to Thornhill path is available....

Nice route over the hills using a mixture of tracks, an old drove road and quiet lanes. No facilities along the way so users need to be self sufficient....
