You could have been forgiven thinking that the trees were on fire today as the autumunal colour was a spectacular yellow and orange across the woods. A beautiful route and a good way to get into Nailsworth without having to go along the main road...

The walk along Tyley Bottom is the definite highlight of this route. Kingscote and the walk into it is not as great hence just 4 stars...

I added yet another variation of this route via Tyley Bottom which I would realy recommend and is a good way to make a circular route round these valleys - and perhaps not bother going to Kingscote. I have put up a variation of this route which avoids the muddy fields....
