23 Jul 2023A lovely walk through London, a real variety of things to see, including the busy stations, the parks and the more officey bits. Overall a good walk. Quite busy in places with small and sometimes uneven pavements so wheelchair users may have to occasionally veer off the path but otherwise good.

23 May 2022Nothing wrong with this Route other than it does go through a busy tourist area. One to enjoy first thing on a Sunday morning methinks.
Loads of sights to enjoy along the way.

07 May 2022Not a lot to add to MTormey's review - the views of key London landmarks in and around Parliament Square and Westminster Bridge are great, particularly on a sunny afternoon. The statue of Abraham Lincoln (pictured) is one of five American presidents spread around the capital.
Castle Lane is still temporarily closed for construction, with Wilfred Street providing a simple alternative.

26 Feb 2022I walked this route from Waterloo Station to Victoria Station after dark on a Friday evening.
There's a lot about this route that I liked quite a bit.
Belvedere Road approaching the Westminster Road seems to be either fully or mostly closed to cars, so it was nice and quiet when I walked. Westminster Bridge is, of course, lovely. Rather than follow the busier Victoria Street to Victoria Station, the route takes quieter streets. Still, it's relatively direct and passes interesting buildings and lovely-looking pubs.
One thing to note: when I walked, Castle Lane was for construction, so I had to follow the signed pedestrian diversion, walking along Wilfred Street instead. A very simple (hopefully temporary) fix.
I guess I'd also notice that the end point is in a silly place: why isn't the Victoria Station node at Victoria Station? This isn't the route's fault, but there's no need to keep going to the end of the route if your final destination is the station: just turn in as soon as the station appears to your left, a full block before the route properly ends!.
