Strider
17 Jun 2023I walked from Kennington (The Oval) to Victoria.
Mostly pavement walking, some big roads to cross but they all have traffic light crossing points. A good route for wheels, apart from the usual urban street furniture.
Lots of interesting buildings, views out over the Thames as you cross Vauxhall bridge (and a welcome breeze on a hot day), and a small park.
Too short to get bored and a great way to get between these stations.

02 Sep 2022At the moment this is the route you would need to take, rather than VICKEN One as the Thames Path behind the SIS building has been closed for some time.
Otherwise this is a fairly nice city route between the two points. Its not amazing but the options are limited and at least on the north side of the Thames, the streets are fairly quiet.

08 Feb 2022This is a really great route. Lots to discover along the way, good urban adventuring, lots of scenic spots, too.
Of course, if you really want to be direct about it, you could stick to the main roads the whole way. If you have a bit more time and want to avoid much of the fuming traffic of the main road, this route is a great alternative.
