Having had some misgivings about how many lanes it follows they turned out to be open with the exception of where you turn from Park Lane to Little Hay Lane, which requires some caution. It's by no means direct but avoids having to cross major roads. Sadly at SK 1533 0468 the route avoids an obvious short cut, loops around and then directs you into a working quarry (fenced off). I've amended the route to fix this and saved it as Shetam Two.
