Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

17 May 2021Generally the walk is ok. Walking Rugby to Lutterworth there were a number of sections with no clear way markers so some type of app with the downloaded gpx very useful (I used OS app). A few points of note: the route takes you through Cosford Hall Farm yard, this is private land, use the track to the right onto the lane and left to join to footpath on the right (no waymarker visible). Route requires crossing the A5 but good sight lines in both direction. Fields around Cotesbach recently ploughed and not always clear where the footpath is (OS app helps here). Route crossed A4303 into Lutterworth, again good sight lines both direction (barrier in the middle has a clear path through). Some muddy and uneven sections so good footwear essential.
