Description
I created this route as part of the Route Sprint 2023, which introduced Aust (Gloucestershire) as a new Slow Ways place on the network.
The route is derived from the former Porche2, on the former Portishead-Chepstow Slow Way, with the section from Chepstow to Aust removed (as that is now part of a new Slow Way), and with improved fidelity.
The Severn Way is used for much of the route.
*** There are temporary access issues between Aust and Chittening, for major flood defence works on the Severn Estuary. These works are likely to be disruptive until 2026/2027 ***
