22 May 2023I walked this route with Hannah! It was a really lovely route through the Cambrian Mountains - highlights included a lovely tea shed with snacks and drinks and an honesty box, waterfalls and beautiful views throughout! Would defo recommend!.

06 May 2023A glorious walk! Slow Ways Saira and I got the midday bus from Aberystwyth to Pontrhydfendigaid, stocked up in the lovely Siop y Bont, and headed off as the first walkers of this superb upland Slow Way. We could see that the route crossed over with the established Borth-to-Pontrhydfendigaid trail in a few places, and had it in mind if Pondev one was hard to find. Sure enough, when One plunged into a field of moorgrass, and the trail offered an option that was no further, we went for it and invented this Pondev two.
Fantastic upland landscapes, we heard a cuckoo and saw a skylark, and then descended into 'Little Switzerland' of Pontrhydygroes where we got fizzy pop and used the loo at a community cafe with an honesty box. Lovely variety, and I'll definitely do this walk again.
