Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

10 Sep 2022 (edited 17 Apr 2023)I want to give it more than two but its got a host of navigational & footpath problems (which I will report to the local council & ramblers).
Coppull; A lot of the footpaths are overgrown with brambles & nettles etc, one footpath is lined with bins and rubbish. Crossing the field toward the motorway (before Vause Farm) the footpath had crops growing on it.
There should be a footpath from Vause Farm to the FB, but it was ploughed and unusable, but it wouldn't matter if you could use it as there was no usable footpath to the FB!. I took the footpath to the right of the farm to circle round, again very overgrown. I then met the FB which i was meant to cross on the other side, there are no waymarks across the field.
The rest of the route, other than waymarks not present, was walkable. An alternative from Coppull could be easily walked.
