Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

17 Jun 2024Newcsto3 is a very enjoyable walk, I normally walk along the roads, which can be tedious and boring. However by going through Hartshill park it makes it more pleasant and the scenery is good. I would recommend anyone commuting via walking from ,Hanley or Shelton to Newcastle-under-Lyme or keele university to walk this route.

05 Jun 2024This is a very practical route as it connects one main station to another. Newcsto 3 is a lot better than the other routes due to the incorporation of Hartshill Park into the route. Highly recommend this route for students living in shelton or hanley going to either Newcastle College or Keele University.
