Description
Most of the latter part of this route follows Muspre 1. The first part follows the coast on the John Muir Way. When this route was walked (August 2022) the western part of the ash lagoons was being filled in but the path could be taken most of the way. There was then a diversion back to the main road. When the works are complete this section of the John Muir Way will re-open allowing the coast to be followed all the way. Comments on the later part of the route can be found under Muspre 1. Watch out for the mural of John Muir having a pint outside the Goth
