This is a very urban route. It starts well by using the quiet Dantzic Street and Collyhurst Road along the Irk Valley. Unfortunately it then joins the busy A664 Rochdale Road and follows that for at least two thirds of the distance.
An alternative route has been uploaded which makes use of a combination of residential streets and footpaths to give a surprisingly pleasant walk.
