Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

12 Dec 2024This is just a short note to agree with the earlier reviewer. The short public bridleway runs through a ditch, and when I visited, the ditch was full of water and mud. An alternative public footpath runs roughly parallel. The picture shows what the public bridleway looks like after a spell of rain. This is the only part of the route I didn't like, so for my main review see Lonbig 2.

08 Aug 2022I walked Biggin to Longnor during a long dry spell. Cattle, stiles, hills. Well plotted but a poor bridle path west of Sheen is unused and soft going so I recommend Lonbig-2 which uses a parallel footpath that shows good usage.
