Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

24 Nov 2022I enjoyed this route and would love to walk it again in the summer. I'd walk in the Ledbury direction again to enjoy the view coming down into the town.
I walked this route with David and agree with his review. I've uploaded Ledsta Two to address the issues David raised.

17 Nov 2022A direct, and enjoyable walk that can be improved (Ledsta two). There's some pedantic plotting to take you to a store in Bromesborrow Heath which isn't really necessary. Besides this store at 6km there is a also a pub in Playley Green at 11km which means that the route is well supplied. Lots of field walking. Path entrances seem quite hard to find/easy to miss, particularly if you're deep in conversation. Hazards to a lesser extent are lanes (there is a section near the M50 bridge which got quite busy with no pavement. The hazard to the greater extent is cows of all breeds and temperaments, it goes with the countryside. Most herds we encountered were docile, including one being minded by a dog, there was one, however which made that particular section rather less relaxing. It has the makings of a good Slow Way and it works so I won't fail it but as soon as it's posted, please follow Ledsta two instead.
