Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

Hiking Historian
06 Dec 2022The route suggests there is a direct link between Ince station and Laburnum Avenue; this is false, as you have to take a few roads around the church. The field beyond is now a building site, although there are two (unmarked) footpaths to take.
Beyond that, the given route through the woods of Ince Moss to do not follow what is on the ground, nor do the 'footpaths' across the moss itself do not exist, an error also not corrected on OS maps.
I have submitted two route: one that follows the original as close as possible, and an alternative that follows an old railway.
