Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

01 Aug 2021I walked from Richmond to Hounslow and mostly I was very pleased with this route. It is reasonably direct and makes good use of footpaths and local parks. I travel between Richmond and Hounslow regularly by bus and can say this is a decent alternative.
However there is one unsafe road crossing at the A315 in Hounslow, and inaccurate routing at Redlees Park in Isleworth, and I think between them this is enough to warrant not taking this version of the routing forward, instead improving it in a new version. So I would recommend Houric Two rather than walking this route.
**There is currently a diversion between Chatsworth Crescent and Inwood Park while the railway bridge is replaced. This work should be completed any day now according to the signs.**.
