The section from Holme on Spalding to Harswell starts with easy walking through the village then goes onto a pleasant disused but well kept railway track. Footpaths are well marked and well maintained with extensive views across flat farmland till you reach a minor road that leads to Shiptonthorpe village and a walk through the village to the roundabout. Not sure if there is a footpath from this roundabout to the next one at the NW edge of Market Weighton as the A1079 is a busy road but the walk into Market Weighton is an easy one. Overall a pleasant walk.
