Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

21 May 2023May 2023. Direction: Llanharry to Cowbridge.
An excellent walk through mostly fields and quiet country lanes. It`s generally well-signposted, with just a couple of places that weren`t clear. As per a previous review, some of the styles between Llanharry and Ystradowen were in a poor state, so care is needed, but I didn`t come across any blockages along the way.

19 Jun 2021I walked from Llanharry to Cowbridge - mostly an enjoyable walk, especially the section just north of Cowbridge. Further north, there are several dilapidated stiles that need to be crossed with care, and one stile has been blocked by a wire fence (not barbed) around a field: an additional obstacle to climb over.
