Walked from Llandudno Junction to Conwy. A very short simple route. There is one flight of steps on the most direct route - I didn't check whether it can be avoided by those with better local knowledge. The road over the Conwy bridge has been closed this week, but this has not affected the foot and cycle routes.

From Llandudno Junction, we follow streets under the A55 access road, then climb up steps onto Conwy Road to cross the railway. Once on the causeway it is best to stay as far right as possible, but you will eventually have to move left to cross the river on the road bridge. We then turn right along the harbourside, then left through a gate in the old walls to follow High Street past the Spar/Post Office to the meeting point in the square.

Very easy, accessible route. Lovely walk down through historic Conwy and across the bridge to Junction.

Considerations:
- Would walk this route again, also very easy to find more trains to Llandudno Junction than Conwy if coming from England, so this section could replace the last small bit of that journey too, with great views of Conwy Castle.
- I did do this walk on a Monday evening in term time so whole route was much quieter than a standard holiday/weekend day, so prepare for access issues/delays if you come in peak seasons.
- Would definitely suggest to others, lots of history in Conwy to enjoy and views of and from the river.
- It is a safe route, once over the bridge to Junction, there are some quieter areas and underpasses next to Lidl and Asda but I felt safe walking through.
- Route is accurate, if you need to use a slope down off the bridge instead of the stairs past Lidl you will just need to walk a little further along the bridge as currently the map looks like it directs you down the stairs but slope will bring you back on yourself/ the route.
- Access looked good, some narrow parts of the pavement on Conwy High Street but should be able to use the road instead of the pavement on the last part of the High Street before reaching Conwy Quay.

4* as it does include concrete areas/underpasses on this route which might not be desirable for some.

A short, pleasant route with superb views over the Afon (River) Conwy.

Walked from Llandudno Junction to Conwy, both locations have good transport links (however rail services at Conwy can be a bit sparse, so make sure to check the timetable.) It is well-paved throughout with good facilities at either end.

There is a flight of steps around SH 7905 7788 which can be avoided by travelling from Llandudno Junction Station to Conwy Road via the main roundabout. Taking this small diversion would make the route suitable for most wheelchair users and is ideal for cycles, subject to occasional dismounting.

Short and easy route from Llandudno Junction station to the middle of Conwy. Nice views along the estuary, and around town past the castle and other historic buildings. Accessible all along the way.
