Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

03 May 2021We walked this in reverse (i.e. Knightwick to Bromyard) in late April 2021. It's a lovely walk - Bringsty Common is a pretty place with plenty of routes criss-crossing it, and the Live and Let Live pub is right by the path. The route goes through a number of fields (with livestock) by it is clearly marked and easy to navigate.
Crossing the A44 is a touch scary but the crossing point is pretty open with good visibility, and cars can be heard from some distance thanks to the openness of the terrain. Bromyard Downs has some beautiful views over the countryside, including to the Malvern Hills, and you can easily divert through the Downs to see some of the prettier spots.
The path then wends down the hill into Bromyard itself which is a pleasant enough little town with good shops and services.
Overall a lovely walk, reasonably flat except for the slope down from the Downs into Bromyard, with beautiful scenery all around.
