Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

01 May 2021I put this route together for someone wanting to bypass the military ranges (not always open).
If the ranges *are* available, going across them is fine - I do it often - but if you need to do AshGui NOW, that might not be an option.
This route is very close to AshBro+BroGui, and I would actually recommend that instead... this is really here as a placeholder.
Ash Vale is a great node, but having an additional node in Ash would allow Ash->Gui routes more easily and then several options for Ash Vale->Ash (on ranges, road, canal, blackwater valley path).....
I do not expect this route to survive, it is here to give options for anyone wanting to go Ash Vale through to Guildford who arrives when ranges are closed.... and even then, skirting the ranges via a southern route is faster.
