    3. This shows the path quality through Hackney marshes. The smooth surface is following the Slowways description, an alternative (potentially muddier) foothpath can be followed throughout Hackney marshes for those that do not need the smooth, hard surface. in the photo seen on the right side of the path, slightly lower. 3 km from start — 27 Apr 2024

    4. This is the short section of cobblestones. the end is already visible in the photo. Really short section 4 km from start — 27 Apr 2024

    5. The flooded underpath at Lea Bridge road. This bit can get flooded after long periods of rain. There is a barrier free detour using a pedestrian crossing just above this underpath. 4.5 km from start — 27 Apr 2024

    6. If taking the detour to avoid the flooded underpath one needs to negotiate this barrier. It was open on the day of walking, but i did notice that there was the potential to lock the right side gate. it was still wide enough for a buggy to go through the other bit, a bike can be pushed through the slot, but I am not sure if a wider mobility scooter would fit IF the gate would be closed 4.5 km from start — 27 Apr 2024
