For the next stretch of road walking, you can go into the nature reserve on the left and then the stretch along Sarum Road to Woodham Lane has a path paralleling the road so you don't have to road walk. It's a little tricky to stick to the path at intersections with parking areas, but the path always starts up again on the other side. km from start — 31 May 2021

    24. At this point, follow the Slow Way extremely carefully! I was using the Slow Way route over the OS basemap, and every time the Slow Way was taking me where it didn't look like there was a path, the Slow Way was correct. It was amazing! It takes a little thinking on your feet, but the paths are there. This image is of steps down from Meadow Way to the Sainsbury's parking lot, though there is also a ramp. km from start — 31 May 2021
