From Market Place, though a small part, through residential streets before the path starting at Monk's Close. There is a small decline immediately after, but no more obstacles other than small roads to cross and foot paths to follow between the Beeston Golf course (There is an incline here but it is not in the middle third of the route and so is not in this survey), 8.8 km from start — 01 Jun 2021
