13. I think this is the narrowest point, around 70cm of path between step under lock and fence. I measured (but didn't photograph) another 70cm path past a bollard (for boats to tie up to) - but there was hedge alongside. 2 km from start — 13 May 2021

14. At a few points along the route there are dips in the path that had muddy puddles even on a dry day. These were probably the worst. 3 km from start — 13 May 2021

17. This is one of the few benches that are available around the Boxmoor stretch of the canal. There are a few steps cut in to the ground to access, and a slope, but both were slightly overgrown due to minimal use. 5 km from start — 13 May 2021
