Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

14 Nov 2021A walk I had high hopes for, which didn't disappoint. Starting from the centre of Kingswinford, the walk along the pavement of the Dudley Road, soon diverts off into "The Village". Here, you cross a very friendly park, then make the short walk via a couple of residential streets, a main road then an industrial area to eventually reach the Old Railway. The Old Railway is wooded, and very popular with walkers. It's raised, so you don't have to cross any roads and you get a great view of the countryside around you. This is a really lovely stretch of walking and it takes you all the way into Wombourne. A path across a green brings you to the bustling village centre where the meeting place is. An excellent Slow Way. Full marks!.
