Route description
New version of the very direct Twiric Two route which crosses the river Thames by the magnificent Art Deco Twickenham Bridge. It uses the new footpath which opened this year along the river Crane at Twickenham station, so reducing the amount of road walking overall. There's a choice between steps and lift to access the station/meeting point. I've improved the road crossing at St Margarets which worried me in Twiric Two. The route now goes past St Margarets station to a safe crossing point. ** Note that the river Crane footpath is closed when there is a Twickenham event day (i.e. a stadium event like rugby or a concert), but the walk-around is easy to find - it's the one used by routes one, two and three! **
