Latest Updates
This route is a mix of road walking (along busy main roads and narrow country lanes with blind corners and no footpaths) and rough tracks over fields of grass and crops. Although technically easy (there are no major gradients) the traffic conditions at the time of survey (Sat 21 Sep 2024) were bad, with cars passing close to me at high speed. I wouldn't recommend this route for those with mobility impairments or with animals or children....

Would be a nice dog walk up from Fareham, with lots of cafes and places to eat (pubs/restaurants/cafes) in Wickham and good bus links between the two if you didn't fancy the walk back....
Voggyrogers
A good route through farmland (mostly crops rather than animals) with some nice little bits of woodland. Reasonably easy to find with signposts at key junctions. The route is partly road, the rest being a mix of wide flat farm tracks and some narrower sections along the edges of fields which are steep in places and get very muddy in the winter....

It's fine for walkers but a temporary footbridge (Photo 1 and 2) makes it challenging, if not impossible for those with mobility devices....
