Latest Updates
The route crosses the Infinity Bridge to use the north side of the River Tees - however there is now a permissive footpath along the south side from the Infinity Bridge to the Tees Newport Bridge, so you can now opt for the south side. From this point onwards the route was easy to follow and Infinity bridge was an impressive way to cross the river (pic 10). Cross the river at the Tees Newport Bridge (pic 13) using the ramp on the north east side or steps on the south west....

This route was better than expected as a quick look at the map indicated mainly a road route through suburbs around Stockton and Middlesbrough. A good route to get you safely from Ingleby to Thornaby with few roads to cross....
