The route follows generally well marked public footpaths and bridleways with some not having been maintained by the local council (e.g. GR716718) and so were overgrown and therefore took time to clear. Further some Public Footpaths across fields were not clear to follow with one or two not having clear exit points into adjoining fields....

Another good Slow Ways easy to follow across lovely countryside with views. The route follows paths and does have steps and stiles so not for all users. The road section along the A442 is slightly tricky as no pavement and little verge so care needed....

There is also an excellent pub at the Hartlebury Tap House, which is adjacent to Hartlebury Railway Station....

Walk this routeHaving walked along the A442 I found that footpath down the side of the Rushock Trading Estate is overgrown to the point of being impassable. I was able to walk a diversion which I will submit as Stobro2...

Easy to follow, easy to walk, safe and a pleasant walk along the towpath. Accessible wheeled as well....

Regular walk for us quite relaxing down the canal side. There are other routes of interest nearby...

Love this route, good long canal walk add a little extra at the end to the River Severn baisin...

The route is very accessible with readily available public transport links at either end. The downloaded route is accurate....

I know the area around Great Witley and Abberley well, you can take the lanes, or walk along the crest of the Great Witley Hill. There’s a shop at the Filling Station in Great Witley, and The Manor Arms in Abberley is great! There are a couple of fast roads to cross or walk along, so dog leads are essential....

This route is blocked by heavy plant work at Holt and you can’t get through and instead it’s a ‘make it up yourself’ diversion involving significant road walking....
