Latest Updates

The only part that was tricky was a quite overgrown footpath along the top of the cliff at Cromer and the stairs down needed some repair - otherwise a great walk in the countryside ending at the beach....

Walk this route

A pleasant start through the town, followed by a short section on a relatively busy and narrow road. The route on the gpx file for this section is pretty much impassible....

Walk this route

My only criticism would be the short stretch of main road you have to walk when exiting North Walsham before turning off at Swafield....

Ben Carver

Walk this route

Only parts of the path are paved, with most of the path going along uneven and potentially muddy ground, so it's suitable for walking but would be difficult to wheel this route. The route extends beyond the Weavers' Way car park once you get into North Walsham, and this section of the route is paved and easy to access....

Samuel Cleveland

Walk this route

The walk started along pavement from North Walsham to Swaffield where the route takes you onto a fairly busy road with no footpath. Just after Bradfield, before Southrepps the route is impassable so you have to walk along the road to the left before joining the route again....

Rebecca Fulcher

Walk this route

Walk crosses a couple of fields towards the North Walsham end which were a little muddy in places but otherwise good....

Alex Bennett

Walk this route

As other reviews have said it's mostly gravel and dry underfoot with some tarmac and a couple of fields to cross. It's really pretty with some ornate old railway bridges and features including an abandoned old station at Honing....

Walk this route

This route is excellent for dog walkers as it follows the track of the M&GN (Muddle & Go Nowhere) railway....

Walk this route

Nice route, a little on safe rural roads at North Walsham end, then joins the Weavers Way making a lovely off road path the rest of the route....

RuthieRoo

Walk this route

As currently defined this route has a section of over 1.5 miles along the extremely busy B1150 Norwich to North Walsham road. There is no path whatsoever for most of that stretch and, consequently, I considered it too dangerous to take. Fortunately, we were able to take a couple of detours which were extremely pleasant - although I am not certain the paths were public rights of way....
