Walk this routeYou then skirt the town centre and then enter the Hetton Lyons Country Park. There didn't seem much in the town by way of facilities but the Dalton Park Shopping Centre is at the edge of the village which has shops and refreshment opportunities and a adjacent supermarket....

This route is good apart from the error leaving Hetton-le-Hole and entering Hetton Lyons Country Park. I have failed the route because of this and provided an alternative Houmur two. Please see that route for full review and photos...

The route leads you into somone's vehicle storage yard which does not have access to the country park hence I have created Hetmur two. The rest of the route is fine and has some lovely stretches of park and countryside. Please see review and photos for Hetmur two...
