It was very accessible with no styles and the only road walking was towards the end as you enter St Austell which I think would be unavoidable given you are walking into a town....

This wasn’t a problem given how quiet these were but in the spring or summer these may become a lot busier especially given the route goes past the Lost Gardens of Heligan....

I walked this route from Mevagissey to St Austell. The main pro of this route is the separation from roads and pleasant walk along the St Austell river....

I walked this route from Probus to Mevagissey. Grampound serves as a good place on the route to take a break or stock up on supplies with a similar offering to Probus....

From a practicality and accessibility standpoint this route is 5* and I may have been swayed by having just walked the road heavy Probus to Mevagissey route but it felt like it somewhat lacked the interest or variety from a scenery point of view that might have had me scoring it a 5* overall....

I didn't really need to include wayfinding arrows on the photos, as it's pretty obvious where to go, following the Cycle Route 3 signs....

This is an easy route to complete, one climb shortly before descending into Mevagissey, with a lovely harbour and coffee/cakes to enjoy once you're there....
