Walk this routeIf you really want to get away from it and total peace and quiet you can't beat this beautiful walk. Flossie fooled me and followed me for most of the track down to the road and then suddenly ran down the track and chased some sheep. Unfortunately Flossie had chased three sheep over the railway crossing and onto the A road - so I had to phone the police....

A nice walk through pleasant countryside. No difficulties. Although much is on road, it is very quiet and comfortable walking....

Footpath near Llanerchindda is not passable (May 2021), instead from Llandovery on reaching road west of Llanerchindda turn left, not right, and take first lane on right towards Cynannt Crossing River Cynannt is a ford, easy when the river is low, but difficult after a lot a rain...
