From Blyborough the route directs along a RoW that crosses fields, at the time of writing these were freshly ploughed, and with the recent rain and high clay soil, it is worth just continuing along the road to Willoughton instead. A better option would be to follow either the footpath or lane that connects Willoughton and Hemswell, then continue through Hemswell to the A631, which at the point the footpath joins it, has a footpath up to the roundabout, then follow that road which has slightly wider verges into Hemswell Cliff....

Walk this routeThere are a few problems with this route; it's an odd choice to deviate through Morton, and the section from Morton to Owlet Plantation is along a road that has no footpath, though the road itself isn't terribly busy, it is used frequently enough that you'll be passed by numerous vehicles. The main issue is the section that follows the B1205 between Welwyn and Newly House. There is no path along this road, and is a heavily used road by all types of traffic....
