Walk this routeThe route suggests a shortcut to Brynhir farm but found it overgrown or otherwise impassable. Most stiles on the route could be opened with more or less ingenuity but I had to climb over a gate right before the route joined a paved road at Rhogo (photo #5 and #6)....

We used an alternative public footpath a little to the west of the Slow Ways route, which rejoined it just east of Llwynceubren....

The first part from Kington to Gladestry follows the Offa’s Dyke Path across Hergest Ridge, and has extensive views in every direction. After Gladestry the route climbs through farmland up to moor land, the trails being generally pretty easy to follow, before descending again to Hundred House. A great walk, which I’d happily do again....
